It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Coach Malvin Ogden (Many, Louisiana), born in Oak Grove, Louisiana, who passed away on July 25, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Malvin Ogden, Sr. and Fern Victoria Ogden (Stevens); his daughter Pam Wood; his sister Earline Coody; and his grandson Brandon Glover.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Nichols Ogden of Many, LA; his children, Rhonda Glover of Many, LA, Angie Bellah of Nashville, TN, Lisa Clark of Wisconsin, Jeff Malley of Colorado Springs, CO, Jason Malley of Benton, LA, Jeremy Malley of Las Vegas, NV and Joey Matson of Bastrop, LA; and his sisters, Margie Newman of Winnsboro, LA, Margaret Hall of Ruston, LA and Kay Allen of Bastrop, LA. He is also survived by grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; with numerous other family members, former students and friends.
