He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Murray Byles and Robert Simion Byles of Many; his sons, Malcolm Byles, Sr. and Jonas Byles; his brother Robert Valmore Byles (Judy); and his grandchildren, Hunter, Cassidy and Kaitlin.
He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Ann; his wife Judith Carol Bell of Robeline; his child Clauriste Byles, Jr. of Many; his sister Juanita Leone of Zwolle; his daughter Nicole Jackson of Robeline; his grandson Malcolm Byles, Jr. (Cait); his children, Kennedy, Grayson, Caroline of Leesville and Madison Duran (Nelson); his grandson Conrad of Houston, Texas; his child C. V. Jackson, IV (Brittany); his grandchildren, C. V. and Jonas of Shreveport; and his children, Alaina Jackson of Robeline and Molly Godwin (Christian) of Wylie. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
