He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Rumsey and Elizabeth Rumsey; his siblings, Forrest Rumsey and Marjorie Rumsey Cryar; and his son-in-law Malcom Kent Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Linda O'Banion Murray Rumsey of Many, LA; his children, Bart Rumsey, Jr. (Angie) of Denham Springs, LA and Cherry Murray Williams; his granddaughter Anna Cate Wright (Dustin); his sons, William Chad and Major Kent of Many, LA; his grandson Patrick Murray Williams (Brittney); his sons, Judah Mac, Micah Ray and Isaiah Kent of Wytheville, VA; his granddaughter Brandi Reams (Johnel); his daughter Reece of Denham Springs, LA; his granddaughter Megan Rumsey; his son Lane of Livonia, LA; and his siblings, Robert Rumsey of DeRidder, LA, Bea Sanson of Newton, TX and June Coryell of Kansas City, MO.
