He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Doucet and Leticia Thibodeaux Doucet; his son Lance Doucet; and his brother Joey Doucet. He is survived by: his wife Frankie Basco Doucet of Mansura; his siblings, Conley Doucet of Ville Platte, Delores Charlie (Danny) of Ville Platte, Pat Picard of St. Landry, Nell LeMaire (James) of Maurice, Paula Clavier (Glenn) of Eunice, Sharon Doucet of Lafayette, Peggy LeBlanc (Ken) of Broussard, Debbie Carrier (Chris) of Branch and Priscilla LeBlanc of Eunice; and his grandchildren, Bethany Doucet, Bryce Doucet, James Basco, Andrew Basco, Harley Basco, Troy Basco and Matthew Basco.
