She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Boston and Florence Boston; her siblings, Bernice Francisco, Magdlen Francisco, Evan Boston and Oray Boston; and her husband Matthew L. James of Mansura.
She is survived by: her sister Marcella Turner; her children, Agatha Jones (Sammie), Elaine Bishop (Curlee), Lydia Harris (Mark), Gregory James (Pat), Matthew James, Jr. (Lynne), Julian James (Paulette) and Bartel James (Kathy); her sister-in-law Julia Boston; and her close friend Priscilla Clark. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
