She was predeceased by: her parents, Iris Laurent and Rev. Velvon Laurent; her husband Clarence Hegger; and her siblings, Lincoln Laurent, Clement Laurent, Nathan Laurent, Lonis Laurent, Susie Mae Augustine, Naomi Kyle, Joyce Dobison and Velma Wells.
She is survived by: her sisters, Geraldine Benjamin of Cottonport and Rachel Hall of Cottonport; her daughters, Dinah Sampson (Alfred) and Janna Lee (Geoffrey); and her caregiver Cora Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends.
