She was predeceased by: her husband Cleveland John Ducote; her parents, Lolita Firmin Wilson Gauthier and Curry Wilson; her stepfather Jessie Gauthier; and her sisters, Merline Thurnquist, Barbara Lacour and Provella "Pam" Channey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon LaCombe (Brent) of Hessmer and Rebecca Mayeaux (Steve) of Hessmer; her grandchildren, Kayla Bollingham (Kevin) of Hessmer, Brandon LaCombe (Julie) of Hessmer and Elizabeth Bordelon (Jonah) of Mansura; her great grandchildren, Kevin Bollingham, II (Ashlyn), Brent Bollingham, Kaylee Bollingham, Brennon LaCombe, Blane LaCombe, CJ Day, Taylor Day and Jonah Cooper Bordelon; and her sisters, Shirley Fields of Boyce and Connie Herrin of Baton Rouge.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Escude Funeral Home (6608 Porterie St, Mansura, LA 71350). A Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (1981 LA-114, Hessmer, LA 71341).
