Funeral services for Jerry Michael Normand of Mansura will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Friday, May 21, 2010, beginning at 11:00am, with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez Hernandez officiating. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura prior to the funeral, beginning at 8:00am Friday morning.
Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery. Jerry Normand, age 62, passed away at the Jackson Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 15, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Weems, Beryl Normand Sullivant. He is survived by his wife, Alice Normand of Mansura brother, Joe Normand sisters, Joann Laphand Rita Normand, all of Mississippi daughters, Felicia Hicks of Gulfport, Ms., Jennifer Ramos of Mansura, Mary Ramos of Florida sons, Dewayne P. of Marksville, la, Mark Williams of Slidell, Jerome Mingo Harrington of Mississippi, Ramondo Ramos of Bunkie, Alex Ramos of Pineville, Preston Ramos of El Paso, TX, Willie Jim Rush of Baton Rouge. His god daughter Siobhan Normand Ricks.
He is also survived by his twentysix grandchildren.
