She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Voinche; her parents, Leonard Michel and Anna St. Romain Michel; and her siblings, Jane Mayeaux, Roland Mitchel and Henry Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura Helminger (Chad) of Mansura; her grandsons, Nicholas Helminger (Michelle) of Carencro and Alex Helminger of Mansura; and her great grandchildren, Sophie Helminger and Reed Helminger. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Escude Funeral Home (6608 Porterie St, Mansura, LA 71350). A prayer was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Church (1879 L'Eglise St, Mansura, LA 71350).
