She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Fontenot; her parents, Alcide Cadoree and Louise Demouy Cadoree; and her siblings, James Cadoree Sr., Gerald Cadoree, Fabin Cadoree and Eula Mae Cadoree.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Sampson (Michael) of Mansura and Prince Fontenot of Mansura; and her sisters, Denise Birch of Alabama and Michelle Bradly of Alabama. She is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, family, and bonus grandchildren.
