He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Lee Jones Sr. and Estella Richie (Baker); his grandchildren, Sabrina Jones, Keyana Jones, Michael Jones, Dion Jones and Denzel Jones; his brother-in-law Jesse Rochester Sr.; and his sister Tommie Ruth Jones Dinkins.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Jones (Neakie), Beverly Jones Pittman and Angela Jones Mayer (Elbert L. Meyer III); his stepchildren, Eric Smith, Kerry Dunbar, Manuel Bates and Alayne Sampson; his grandchildren, Dwayne Pittman Jr., Brianne Jones, Tatyana Jones, Katrina Jones, Layana Jones, Natasha Jones, Isaiah Jones, Jonah Jones, Dezjona Jones, Kaneisha Jones, Lamont Jones, Jahki Jones, Ashonti Jones, Dreyonna Jones, Tysheri Jones, Demarko Jones, Seiji Jones, Valencia Meyer and Elbert L Meyer IV; his siblings, James Earl Jones (Remedious) and Emogene Jones Rochester; and his brother-in-law Lewis Dinkins. He is also survived by forty-five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
