He was predeceased by: his parents, Olephus Courville and Angelia Courville; his uncles, William Guillory, Edwin Guillory and Louis Courville; and his cousin Alton Guillory.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his children, Bruce Courville (Deborah) of Hessmer and Annette Tassin (Donald) of Mansura; his godson Barney Adam Nilsen (Shelby) of Houston; his brother Landry Courville of Hessmer; and his grandchildren, Tara Pesnell, Ashley Coco (Greg), Lindsey Gagnard (Marcus), Erica Ducote (Milton), Avery Ryleigh and Brayden Nilsen.
