He is survived by: his close friend Bobbie Wise Graves; his children, James Andrew Canipe, Amore Sierra West and Hannah Elizabeth West; and his sisters, Tena Chadwick (Steve), Lisa Snead (Daniel) and Mary Madajczyk (Douglas). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
