We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2024, at the age of 96, Natalie Brown Gates Burr of Mansfield, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Brown and Eva Phillips; her brother James; and her spouses, Clifton Travis Gates and Garthel L. Burr.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Gates Spears (Jim) of Greenback, Tennessee and Myra Gates Odum (John) of Benton, Louisiana; her brother Jack D. Brown (Papa Jack) of Shreveport, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Becky Reed (Shane) of Benton, Alisha Mulkey (Henry) of Annapolis Maryland, Jay Odum of Silver Springs and Mandi Ledbetter (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Dayne, Brady Reed of Benton, Iris, Eleanor, Asa Mulkey of Annapolis, Hosanna and Joelle Ledbetter of Knoxville, Tennessee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
