It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Merle Marie Carnahan of Mansfield, Louisiana, born in Vivian, Louisiana, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harrison and Emma Toombs Carlisle; and her husband Douglas Everett Carnahan.

In view of the Covid19 virus, a private graveside service and interment will be held, Friday, June 19 at the Highland Cemetery, Mansfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to the "Friends of Highland Cemetery" fund.
