He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie E. Ferguson and Edna Patrick Ferguson; his sons, Tim Ferguson, Joe Ferguson and Poncho Ferguson; his sister Pat Booker; and his son-in-law Kenneth Dale Freeman Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ayers Ferguson of Mansfield, Louisiana; his children, Jim Ferguson of Mansfield, Louisiana and Jennifer Ferguson of Mansfield, Louisiana; his sister Mary Spencer of Houston, Texas; and his grandchildren, Justin Ferguson (Lacy), Danielle Ferguson, Kenneth "Spooky" Freeman (Page), Nicole Ferguson, Matthew "Stomper" Ferguson, Emily Ferguson, Harley Stewart and Chloe Stewart. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
