He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. McPhearson and Iris McPhearson; his parents-in-law, John and Bessie Jacobs; his brothers, Paul Dean, Clyde and Rickey Lynn McPhearson; and his sister-in-law Lurline McPhearson.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; his children, Ricky McPhearson (Martha) and Donna Young (Joe); his grandchildren, Corrie Campbell (Mike), Jacob Blakley, Joanna and Josh Blakley; his great grandchildren, Colbie Lynn, Chloe McPhearson, Paige, Ethan Campbell, Jaxson, Jett and Ensley Mae Blakley; his stepgrandchildren, Heather Blackwell (Josh), Christopher Young (Ashley), Alyssa, Fisher Young, McKenzie, Jaylyn Blackwell and Logan Prather; and his sisters-in-law, Myrtle Nunley and Nancy McPhearson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Mansfield (943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wallace Baptist Church (5605 LA-177, Pelican, LA 71063). A burial was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 2:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pelican Cemetery.
