With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerardette Hesser of Mansfield, Louisiana, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 68. Gerardette was predeceased by: parents, Joseph Earl Rambin, Sr. and Valma C. Roblow; son Joey Hesser; and parents-in-law, Patricia Hesser and Sam Hesser.
Gerardette is survived by: husband Christian Hesser; daughter Megan Hesser Kellogg (Jason); grandchildren, Sam Hesser (Sky), Kasey Hesser, Cameron Kellogg, Zoe Kellogg and Sophia Kellogg; great grandchildren, Joselyn Spikes, Riley Trader and Jodie Hesser; daughter-in-law Candy Hesser; siblings, Belinda Rogers (Glenn), Becky Sanders (Bob), Nancy Ruston, Sharon Doyal (Ricky), Toni Rambin, David Rambin, Paul Rambin (Sue), Joe Rambin (Gwen), Bernie Rambin and Marvin Rambin (Jo); and siblings-in-law, Melissa Hesser, Vernon P. Hesser (Cissy), Gerard Hesser (Penny) and Rich Ruston. Gerardette is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Mansfield (943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (305 Jefferson St, Mansfield, LA 71052). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Marys Catholic Church.
