He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvis Maurice and Esther Louise Orr. He is survived by: his wife Donna Orr; his sons, Tracey Maurice Orr, Stacey Davin Orr and Terry Michael Orr; his sister Gail Figley (Charles); and his grandson Ayden Maurice Orr. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Southside Baptist Church (7329 LA-509, Mansfield, LA 71052). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lakeview Funeral Home (5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX 75604). An entombment was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery (5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX 75604).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefer donations be made to the American Bible Society, or Gideons International.
