He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Evans and Melvy Smith Evans; and his brothers, Lester Evans, Gorden Evans, Gene Evans and Curtis Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Parault Evans; his sister Doris Latham (Ronnie) of Benson, LA; his sisters-in-law, Helen Dull of Haughton, LA and Mary Hinkie Ladd of Mansfield, LA; his children, Lisa Jenkins (Ned) of Converse, LA, Debbie Brewer (Bruce) of Tishomingo, OK and Bryan Evans (Veronica) of Stonewall, LA; his grandchildren, Melisa Burr, Ray Allen Meshell, Clinton Jenkins, Amber Jenkins, Christina Brewer, Christian Evans and Aaron Evans; and his great grandchildren, Logan Meshell, Daniel Gandy, Jr., Aidan Bremer, Aubrey Jenkins, Haze Hickman and Kaylee Hickman Pallbearers. He is also survived by his dogs, cats.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
