He was predeceased by: his parents, Buron Lee Lum and Hazel Lum. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Kay Springer Lum; his children, Kelly Calhoun of Stanley, Kara Cormier (Jamie Carter) of Dayton and Casey Lum (Jordan Laffitte) of Converse, Louisiana; his sisters, Nelda Worthington of Huxley and Norma Kay Ermel of Huxley, Texas; his grandchildren, Eavin Grace Cormier, Ashlynne Elizabeth Cormier, Blaine Calhoun, Ben Calhoun, Lance Lum, Hunter Lum and Beau Kelly Moore; and his great grandchildren, Presley Calhoun and Berklee Calhoun.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to the Hunter Magnolia Baptist Church New Building Fund.
