He was predeceased by: his daughter Janan Dumas; his brother Devon Dumas; and his parents, Ira "Jug" and Lorena Dumas. He is survived by: his wife Janette Dumas of Mangham; his children, Debra Brown (Sean) of Farmerville, Stephanie Farmer (George) of Texas and Terry Antley of Farmerville; his stepdaughters, Janet Lochbrunner (Brian) of Winnsboro and Donna Tobia (Duke) of Rayville; his siblings, Ann Duke of Dubach, Betty June (Bobby) of Dubach, Carolyn Dumas of Ruston and Charles Dumas (Jean) of Ruston; his grandchildren, Dalton Brown, Jensine Walton, Hannah Jerkins, Brandy Roton (Robbie) and Casey Antley (Erin); his great grandchildren, Luke Gates, Liam Raley, Conner Raley, Reese Antley, Faith Antley, Blake Roton and Gracie Roton; and his pet Kasper.
