He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Bentley Vinson; his parents, Almer Eugene and Neley Phillips Vinson; and his brother Billy Vinson. He is survived by: his wife Sue Vinson of Mangham; his son Chris Vinson (Cindy) of Mangham; his grandchildren, Jessie Marquez (Paul), Krysti Vinson and Lindsay Vinson; his great grandchildren, RaeLynn Vinson and Dottie Lee; his sister Jeanette Cockerham of Pineville, LA; and his close friends, Kenny and Stacy Womack.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Hebert Full Gospel Children's Ministry and to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
