She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Harwell, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Regina Harwell and Carl Harwell, Jr.; her wife Melissa; her grandchildren, William Harwell and Daniel Harwell; and her sisters, Mary Bradford, Caroline Patterson, Diane Rizzo and Jane Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
