He is survived by: his wife Dixie Childress of Mangham; his son Danny Wayne Childress (Rene) of Baton Rouge; his siblings, Ronny Childress (Linda) of Mangham, Betty Romero (Larry) of Mangham and Tina Fitzgerald (Terry) of Archibald; his grandchildren, Dr. Taylar Childress-McKeithen (Cord) of Baton Rouge and Anna Michael Childress; and his great grandchildren, Alexander, Lorelei McKeithen and Lina Rose Adams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
