We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2025, at the age of 93, Valliere Joseph Dauterive Jr. (Mandeville, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Valliere J. Dauterive, Sr. and Helen Mistrot Dauterive; his wife Margaret B. Dauterive; and his daughter Catherine Marie Dauterive. He is survived by: his children, Ann D. Savoy, Suzanne D. McGuire (Paul) and Val J. Dauterive, III (Lynda); his grandchildren, Amy S. Bradshaw (Brian), Zachary V. Dauterive and Jacob E. Dauterive; his stepsons, Michael P. McGuire, Luke A. McGuire (Hannah), Kevin P. McGuire (Laura) and Derek Kleinrichert; his great grandchildren, Jack, Caroline and James Bradshaw; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Leo, Patrick, Elise and Oscar McGuire.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1501 W Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Bernard Memorial Gardens (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043).
