He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion E. Wagoner and Ida Hendrix Wagoner; his grandson C. Lyon Gavel; and his siblings, Fulton Wagoner, Eunice Whisonant, Richard Wagoner, Anita Eagles, Thomas Wagoner, Francille Cockerham and Betty Howell.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Weldon Wagoner; his children, Greg Wagoner (Kim), Gary Wagoner (LaJuan) and Tami W. Gavel (John); his grandchildren, Trampus, Charris, Ilisha, Adrienne, Priscilla, Lee, Nicole, Bryan, Blake, Lauren, Greg and Sarah; and his great grandchildren, Samuel, Caroline, Justin, Jacob, Stephyn, Devin, Paytn, Carter, Bailee, Ella, Elise, Marlee, Hudson, Brielle, Joe, Gabe, Riley, Taylor, Vivian, Nicholas, Kaleb, Adlai, Gunnar and Jonah.
