He is survived by: his sister Myrna Abadie Gorman; his wife Patricia Barnes Abadie; his children, Christine, Jeffrey, David and Elizabeth; his children-in-law, David Graham, Kristina Abadie, Joselyn Mercado-Abadie and Garett Drez; his grandchildren, Alison Mantilla Raskin (JJ Raskin), Anthony Andonie, Andre Andonie, Julianna Graham, Henry Abadie, Mason Abadie, Weston Abadie and Andrew Drez; and his great grandchild Tavi Raskin.
In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred, or a donation to St. Jude Hospital or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
