We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2024, at the age of 84, Philip Lindsay Carruth (Mandeville, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Edward Carruth and Alma Ballam Carruth; and his siblings, Luther Edward Carruth, Jr., Anna Kent Carruth Simpson, Walter Kent Carruth and Julian Reade Carruth.
He is survived by: his wife Edwina "Winnie" Whitman Carruth; his daughters, Julia Kathryn Carruth Hosea (Andrew) and Laura Ann Carruth Pickett (Alex); his grandchildren, Abigail Grace Hosea, Samuel Matthew Hosea and Benjamin Carruth Pickett; his nieces, Susan Carruth-Ryan, Jean Simpson Blanche, Mary Clare Carruth and Roberta Carruth-Taylor; and his nephew Gurucharan Khalsa. He is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends.
