She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillie Edward Blackwell Sr. and Lucille McGehee Blackwell; and her siblings, Tillie Edward Blackwell Jr. (Gayle) of Bogalusa, Betty Jo Lyons (Melvin) of Bogalusa and Bobby Nell Wallace (Harold) of Lanett, Alabama..
She is survived by: her husband Vernon Carl Ray of Mandeville; her goddaughters, Laura Keaveny Boudreaux (Jonathan) of Covington and Audrey Blackwell Wilkins of Mandeville, Louisiana.; and her siblings, Jerry Dale Blackwell (Judy) of Baton Rouge and Jackie Blackwell Bowles (Bob) of Metairie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
