It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Noel Anthony Matherne of Mandeville, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Victor Matherne Sr. and Frances Matherne (Hahn); and his sisters, Elsie Hernandez and Dorothy White. He is survived by: his wife Joy Matherne (Maechling); his children, Kelly Green (Johnny) and Tiffany Springman (Kevin); and his siblings, J. V. Matherne, Jr., Frances Cuadrado and Diane Dolese.
A memorial service will be held at a later date due to COVID-19.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Noel Matherne may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
