He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Henry Springmann Jr. and Carol Larmann Springmann; and his granddaughter Diane Elizabeth Easley. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Michael Springmann, Kelly Michelle Springmann, Ashley Springmann Davis and Courtney Lynn Springmann; his children-in-law, Tiffany Matherne Springmann (Kevin) and Tyler James Davis (Ashley); his grandsons, Tyler Lee Skelton, Austin Noel, Kevin Michael Springmann Jr. and Jack James Davis; his brothers, Scott Paul Springmann (Mary Lynne) and Timothy James Springmann; and his daughter Bernadette Buehler Springmann. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
