With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melanie Gascon Burris (Mandeville, Louisiana), born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on October 18, 2018 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Raymond A. Gascon; and her grandparents, Oscar Gascon, Katherine Gascon, James Bowden and Hattie Bowden.
She is survived by: her husband Nathan "Kevin" Burris; her daughter Rachel Seippel (Craig); her grandson Casen Seippel; her mother Mary Gascon; her siblings, Sheri Engels (James "Butch") and Andy Gascon (Diane); her nephews, Trey Holifield and Martin Holifield; and her niece Janice Holifield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Melanie to be made to New Life Community Church, 20116 LA-1081 Covington, LA 70435.
