She is survived by: her husband Leon William Myers; her daughters, Barbara Ann Oakes (Ray Buckel), Sandra Lee Barrios (Larry) and Elaine Gerrie Myers (Joe Monti); her grandchildren, William Oakes, Krystal Goodman (Jimmy), Leonette Loe (Jason), Stephen O'Rourke and Elaine "Lainie" Monti; her great grandchildren, Victoria Impastato, Chloe Loe, Lanna O'Rourke and Michael Vigil; her brother Anthony "Tony" Manalla Jr. (Linda); and her nieces, Maria Sirchia, Lisa Quintana and Gina Hattier.
Mary Ellen was a graduate of Sacred Heart on Canal Street and worked at Charity Hospital School of Nursing.
