She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise Waid Maddox and Paul Rand Maddox; and her brother Jack Waid Maddox. She is survived by: her husband Sam Smalley; her sons, Lawrence Michael Rase Jr. (Stacey Paretti) and Lance Marcus Rase (Erika Laughlin); her stepsons, Chris, Chad (Allison), Chaplin (Leah Ann) and Carson; her grandchildren, Shelby DiMartino (Bruce), Hadley Murrell (Jackson), Larry Rase III, Landry Rase, Abigail Rase, Nicholas Rase, Madison Smalley, Christian Smalley, Layla Smalley, Chandler Smalley, Savannah Smalley and Stella Smalley; her great grandchild Rumi Smalley; and her siblings, Paul Rand Maddox Jr. (Kim) and Melissa Hall King (Rick). She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
