He was predeceased by: his parents, Zelda Zettwoch Hannan and Edward Maxwell Hannan, Sr.; his uncle Louis; and his brother-in-law James Moore. He is survived by: his wife Karen Francke Hannan; his sons, Connor, Parker and Nicholas Hannan; his uncle James Campbell; his aunt Jeanne "Kay" Tardo; and his siblings, Lynne Marie Moore, Edward (Rita), Jack (Frances) and Timothy Hannan (Laverne). He is also survived by many loving in-laws, sixteen nieces and nephews, and several bag limits of great-nieces and nephews.
