She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mehrer and Amelia Mehrer; her siblings, Jane J. Kochenberger of Ft. Collins, CO and Arnold L. Mehrer of Mott, ND; her son Gary D. Alexander of Bogalusa; and her granddaughter Allison Sharp of Covington.
She is survived by: her children, Karen L. Remson (Don) of Jefferson Hills, PA, Carl A. "Andy" Alexander (Carla) of Covington, LA and Mark S. Alexander (Linda) of Waterford, CT.; her grandchildren, Paul Remson (Mercedes) of Portland, TX, Kristen Remson of Stillwater, OK, Samuel Alexander (Molly) of Waterford, CT, Austin Alexander of Worcester, MA, Shi (Ann Turnbull), Jodey Greco (Jon) of River Ridge, LA and Austin Sharp (Lauren) of Covington, LA.; and her great grandchildren, Cecilia Remson of Portland, TX, Faith Schibi of Portland, TX, Vayda Greco and Alaiyna Sharp of River Ridge, LA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the First Presbyterian Church of Bogalusa and the Washington Parish Habitat for Humanity.
