With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Brown Steimle of Mandeville, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on May 25, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen Edward Steimle; her parents, Storm M. Brown and Cecile Dickinson Brown; her brother Malcolm S. Brown, Sr.; and her brother-in-law Gerald Ganucheau.
She is survived by: her children, Yvette S. Murphy (Steve), Kathleen Oberly (Dan), Jeanne Dufour (Ron) and Karl S. Steimle (Kristin); her siblings, Cecile Diehl (Edward), Ethel Ganucheau, Marilyn Villarrubia (Neal) and Charles Brown (Natasha); her grandchildren, Christina Dufour, Matthew Murphy, Michelle Murphy, Ben Murphy (Kaitlin), Abigail Dufour, Joshua Dufour, Lyla Steimle and Ella Steimle; and her sister-in-law Judith Brown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
