He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulalie Angel Schumann and Charles Ford Laws, Jr. of New Orleans; his wife Mollie Gail Doughtie of Monroe; and his siblings, John Burnett Laws, Charles Laws III (Ford), Richard Tarvin Laws, Master Sergeant William Laws (Bill), Thomas Laws (Tiny), Ann Stanton Laws Dubos and Angelita Laws.
He is survived by: his son Brian Thomas Laws of Mandeville, Louisiana.; and his siblings, Monica Laws of St. Louis, Mary Laws of St. Louis and Peter Laws of Dallas.
