With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Bernie Dufour (Mandeville, Louisiana), who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Joseph Bernie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joseph Bernie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris Dufour and Constance Dufour; and his brothers, Jim Dufour (Joanne) and John Keith Dufour, Jr. (Sandra Difatta Dufour). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hughes Dufour. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew and grand-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tammany Oaks Church of Christ (3700 LA-59, Mandeville, LA 70471). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
