She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Riley Taunton and Byrd Lee Darnell Taunton; her husband James Franklin Delaney; and her siblings, Annie Jean Taunton Turner, Sara Jo Taunton Hale, Gloria Joyce Taunton McGinnis and Donald Tony Taunton.

She is survived by: her daughter Leigh; her son-in-law Randy Bridges of Mandeville; and her grandchildren, Ashleigh and James Bridges (Savannah White).

In lieu of flowers the family would like to request donations to the Alzheimer's Association, or a charity of the donor's choice, in Jackie's name.
