He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kustenmacher Carpenter; his children, Dwayne Carpenter (Rachel), Dewey Dale Carpenter and Deanna Carpenter (Adam Spell); his grandchildren, Gavin Carpenter, Blake Huff, Brayden Huff, Breanna Huff, Caitlyn Carpenter and Bentley Carpenter; and his siblings, Ella Loyd, Dot Barker, Shari Peter and Jerry Carpenter.
