He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Mahler Price. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Morton; his child Courtney Mahler; his stepchildren, Richard "Kendall" Morton, Katie Olavarrieta and Ryan Olavarrieta; his siblings, John Morrison Jr. (Lynn), Michele Kael (Rudy), Kathy Fos (Louie), Bruce Mahler (Tina), Barbara McArthur (Danny), David Mahler, Kenneth Mahler (Sonja) and Chris Mahler (Cathy); and also Carol Morton Naquin (Clarence). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
