She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Pierre Achee and Ella Lucille Bruhl Achee; her former husband Clifford James Glockner, Jr.; and her brother Henry Pierre Achee, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Ron James Glockner (Amy Rice Glockner) and Dawn Glockner Denman (David Denman); her grandchildren, Ron J. Glockner, Jr., Zayn Matthew Boothe, Dillan Rice, Darby Rice, Devin Denman and Tyler Denman; her great grandchildren, Harrison and Anderson Denman; her siblings, Sylvia L. Husser (Emile), Sharon A. Reid, Joseph Emile Achee, Paul Raoul Achee, Douglas Warren Achee, Ella Lyn Achee and Evelyn E. Willie (A. J.); and her husband Cliff.

She was a leader in the grass roots effort to "Save Our Lake" and a founding member of the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation.
