He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Braiwick Sr. and Shirley Braiwick of New Orleans; and his brother John Christian Braiwick. He is survived by: his close friend Janet Jackson; his children, Arthur Braiwick, Jr. of New Orleans, Denise Dorr (Kevin) of Mandeville, Daniel Braiwick (Mandi) of Robert, Michelle Braiwick (Jeffery Carlson) of Mandeville, Amy Green (Drew) of Covington and Kyle Bone (Cayla Sykes) of Mandeville; his grandchildren, Andrew, Abby Dorr, David Paul Pitfield III, Joseph, Jack Braiwick, Lyla and Jackson Green; and his siblings, Melanie Saunders (Larry) of Mandeville, Robert M. Braiwick, Jr. (Cindy) of Metairie and Theresa Scalco (Steven) of Metairie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family is asking in lieu of flowers that either donations be sent to Saint Joseph Abbey and Seminary College, 75376 River Road, Saint Benedict, LA 70457 or masses offered in his memory.
