He was predeceased by: his parents, Anatole Dupre and Ovelia Roy Dupre; and his siblings, Winnie Mae Gobert, Margie Vidrine, Weston Dupre, L. D. Dupre, Norman Dupre, Anatole Dupre, Jr. and Preston Dupre.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Jane Fruge; his children, Gwendolyn Marie Lafleur of Mamou, Samantha Guillory (David) of Mamou, Gary Steven Fruge (Martha) of Mamou and John Fruge Dupre (Glenda) of Pollock, LA; and his siblings, Gabby Manuel (Glenn) of Mamou, Glen Dupre (Caroline) of Franklin, LA and Berkman Dupre (Loretta) of Center, TX.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
