Rejoyice Thomas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rejoyice Thomas of Mamou, Louisiana, who passed away on September 7, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kellie Matthew and Lorida Matthew; and her husband Inies Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Janice Marie Whitehurst (Ray) of Garland, TX, Louanna Henderson of Garland, TX, Kines Thomas (Rose) of Mamou, LA, Mary Ann Captain (Ted) of Kinder, LA and Julia Nell Lewis (Baron) of Forney, TX.; her brothers, George Ann Young of Beaumont, TX and Arthur Neville of Houston, TX.; her sons, Fanley Thomas (Florence), Stanley and Paul Thomas; her granddaughter Nicole Henderson; her great grandchild Regaryn Joseph Reed; and her siblings, Adam Matthew, Van Lewis (George Neville) and Priscilla Freeman. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great, Great Grandchildren.
