It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reba Byerly of Mamou, Louisiana, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Byerly; her daughter Trisia Byerly; her son-in-law Rod Fontenot; her parents, Dallas Veillon Sr. and Maxie Gotreaux; and her sister Shirley Veillon.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas "Gene" Byerly, Lisa Soileau and Katina Cortez (Terrence); her close friend Nason Soileau; her siblings, Raymond Veillon, Dallas "Joey" Veillon Jr., Ellis "Mano" Cook and Valerie Bushey; her grandchildren, Mendy, Gage, Storm, Taylor, Mariah and Trent; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Jayden, Rhett, Colton, Jordan, Columbiana, Charlee, Cayne, Amelia and Atlee.
