He is survived by: his children, Kirsten LeJeune Owen (Jared) of Basile, Brooks Higginbotham (Amber) of Eunice and Madison Rose Brockhurst (Mark) of Phoenix, AZ; his siblings, Kirk Paul Montelaro (Jahn) of Mamou, Fannie Augustine of Broussard, Priscilla Jane Sherrick (Gerald "Cowboy") of Lake Charles, Jackie Newcomer (Charles Wilbur) of Sulphur, Susan Fontenot of Eunice, Debbie Young (James "Black") of Eunice and Sheila Jordan (James) of Zwolle; his grandsons, Cohen Brown, Bryson and Mason Higginbotham; and his stepgranddaughters, Stella, Aida and Maya Owen.
