He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Samuel Thompson and Stella Mae Kortum Thompson; his former wife Valerie Lynn Thompson; his wife Tracy Luanne Sellers; and his siblings, John Thompson, Gerald Thompson, Priscilla Winebrenner, Elizabeth Belger, Bonnie Weaver and Janette Strunk.
He is survived by: his children, Casey Thompson and Dawn Small; his grandsons, Trent Muselman and Luke Muselman; his stepgranddaughter Ashely Johnson; his great grandchildren, Dante, Isabella, Preston, Benson and Kinzley; and his sisters, Linda Biery, Patricia Harrah and Leona McPherson.
